Wine Principles — Wed, September 16th

This tasting will take place on Wednesday, September 16th, from 7 to 8:15pm.

Everybody drinks wine. Some of them love it, others don’t, but very few people actually understand it. Not because it's complicated, but because who has the time to do the exhaustive research and make sense of it? For example, what does "dry" actually mean? What is acidity, and why does it matter? Why do some wines taste like fruit and others taste like rocks? What even is terroir, and why do winemakers keep talking about it like it's a religion? We're going to break it all down tasting through five wines, asking ourselves a bunch of questions, and giving you a lot of answers.

This guided tasting includes 5 wines, with 2oz pours of each. Enough to taste, explore, and get a real sense of each bottle.
