A couple of years ago, Jorge Méndez joined the family winery after spending years working vineyards all over the world. And instead of just settling in, he has been obsessed with finding the tiniest, most extreme vineyards on the north face of Tenerife and making wine from them.
We just got a shipment of those wines.And we had to do something special with them for the Canary Islands Wine Week!
For this special tasting we will explore the north face of the island through Jorge's eyes. We'll taste through five wines made from grapes you've probably never heard of, grown on volcanic soils at altitudes that make you dizzy.
We're bringing out the 3D maps and a full-on presentation so you can see what we will be talking about and tasting through.
