Nerello Mascalese
Out of a Sicilian family heritage that traces back to the 17th century, the Tornatore’s Mount Etna wine ventures began in 1865. Today, under the guidance of Giuseppe Tornatore, the family tends some of Etna’s most prized north-facing vineyards, sitting at a breathtaking 1,000 meters above sea level.
This radiant Rosato is Nerello Mascalese in its purest, most vibrant form. With just a few hours of skin contact, it glows like Sicilian sunset—a deeper, serious rosé with the soul of a red. Fermented and aged briefly in stainless steel to preserve every bit of volcanic energy, it’s a wine that hums with place.
The nose is a basket of wild raspberries, red currants, and sun-warmed citrus peel. The palate is juicy and medium-bodied, swirling with salted berries, wild orange, and a stony, almost salty freshness that carries the finish like a sea breeze over lava rock.
Pair with grilled prawns with lemon, seafood pasta, or olives and almonds on a hot afternoon.
This is the rosé you drink when you’re tired of rosé.
