The Concept of Skin Contact — Wed, September 23rd

This tasting will take place on Wednesday, September 23rd, from 7 to 8:15pm.

By now you must already know that orange wine is not made with oranges. But, why do we call it orange? What's the alchemy behind a rosé? Why does a white wine sometimes have a tannic structure? And how is it even possible to make white wine from red grapes? This session is about the magic of maceration. About what happens when grape skins meet juice and decide to become something else entirely. We'll taste wines that challenge everything you thought you knew about colour, texture, and flavour.

This guided tasting includes 5 wines, with 2oz pours of each. Enough to taste, explore, and get a real sense of each bottle.
