Garganega
The Tessari family doesn’t just make Soave—they are Soave. For three generations, they’ve tended their precious hectare of Garganega vines in the volcanic slopes of Monteforte d’Alpone, right in the heart of the historic Soave Classico zone. It was Antonio Tessari who hand-dug the cellar in 1933, and today, his grandchildren—Germano, Antonio, and Cornelia—carry on that legacy with the same hands-on passion.
From vine to bottle, these three siblings oversee everything, farming organically since 2013 and working volcanic soils rich in basalt and clay that give the wine its vibrant mineral core and electric freshness. This is artisanal winemaking in its purest form: no shortcuts, no compromises—just wine that tastes unmistakably of its origins.
This Soave smells like an early morning breakfast in an Italian garden by the sea: hints of warm melba toast, elderflower jam, and a sip of chamomile tea, then a slap of crushed-seashell minerality. The palate is a juicy nectarine and lemon zing dancing on a cloud of marzipan that feels like resting your head on the world’s softest pillow.
Pour it with fried sardines, herbed risotto, or simply on a Tuesday night because you deserve it.
