Tajinaste ‘Paisaje de las Islas’ Espumoso 2024

Paisaje de las Islas is a collaborative project between growers and winemaker Agustín García Farrais across the archipelago. History, plots, crops, varieties, people, climate, singularity, origin. All of it. This one comes from Tenerife, 100% Listán Blanco, from old vines in La Cruz Santa, trained in that distinctive braided cordón múltiple system that looks like little snakes going down the hilly slopes of the Orotava Valley.

Traditional method. Fermented in stainless steel, no malolactic, then 15 months on the lees before disgorgement in July 2026. Extra brut.

When you smell it, you're instantly like oh, yes. This is Canary Islands. It has that flinty, reductive feeling on the nose, like the aromas were trapped in a match-strike. Super elegant tension on the palate. Fresh, bright. A wine to bring around and impress someone.
