Somewhere Viognier 2025

This is the first year Amanda has made a white wine. And it's a Viognier! We would be lying if we said we weren't very excited about it.

The grapes were picked on October 21st and soaked overnight with the skins to bring out those beautiful floral notes Viognier is known for. Fermentation started in stainless steel, then transferred to neutral French oak barrels. Finished after a couple of weeks. Aged for six months, then bottled unfined, unfiltered, with the lees still in there.

When we tasted it together at the shop, the wine was singing. White flower blossoms, quince paste, a grippy mouthfeel that adds texture and complexity. Salty, yummy, taking you somewhere special. She nailed it!
