Pearl Morissette isn’t just a winery; it’s a phenomenon. With a farm that houses the #1 restaurant in the country (and two Michelin stars to boot), they’ve built a universe around the idea that Canadian wine can be world-class. Also, François Morissette says he "doesn't make wine for Ontario, he makes wine for the world." It might sound a little arrogant, but then you taste his wines and realize—okay, fair.

This is Riesling from the Lincoln Lakeshore, but it's Riesling like you've never had. Whole-cluster pressed, aged 16 months on its lees in foudre, then another four months in concrete egg and demi-muids. No shortcuts.

The 2020 is a stunner. Completely dry, but with this golden honey texture that ripples across your palate. It's laser-focused and electric, but also soft and generous, dripping with sunshine and exotic spice. Like a black ball with a tender heart ;)

Drink it now or bury it in your cellar for a decade. It'll wait.
