Lighthall 'The Fence' 2024

Recommendations are great. We all want them. But the best finds are usually the ones you stumble upon. The ones you discover on a lonely road in Prince Edward County, where the land ends and the big slabs of limestone sink into Lake Ontario. That's Lighthall! Tiny, tucked away, the kind of place you'd miss if you blinked. They've been farming over 60 acres since 2008, hand-tending vines in that rugged, cool County landscape that gives everything grown there a distinct mineral edge.

This is The Fence, their sparkling rosé made from Pinot Noir. They use the Charmat method, which keeps the fruit bright and juicy. Strawberry, cherry, hibiscus, rosehip tea, fresh watermelon. Bright, lively, and ridiculously drinkable.
