Last House ‘Electrum’ 2024

Last House's skin contact Chardonnay from Prince Edward County, grown in their own farm. It spent the thrill of 19 days on the skins. Twenty-six days of thrice daily manual punchdowns. That's a lot of work, but that's what it takes. Fermented with indigenous yeast, spontaneous malo, all of this happening in a mix of stainless steel and one lonely neutral oak barrel. Unfiltered, unfined, bottled by hand. 

It tastes like salty tangerine rind, pineapple jelly, wet sand, freshly cut thyme. Drink it with grilled fish, with roasted vegetables, with the pie you just got from Badiali's new spot so close to us.
