Last House 'Bonheur' Blanc de Noir 2020

The last batch of this exceptional sparkling wine, only 120 bottles that have just been disgorged after 60 months on lees. That's five years!

This is Pinot Noir, hand-picked and whole cluster pressed in a small water-fed press, wild fermented with full malo, unfiltered and unfined, It was bottled for secondary fermentation in June 2021, hand riddled and hand disgorged in tranches (this is tranche four) with zero dosage, barely any sulphur.

Deepening gold colour. The nose is flinty, bready, brioche, then ripe pear, green apple, lemon curd, salinity, white flowers, I want to drink this forever-deliciousness level.  Pinpoint minerality. Savoury stone fruits, biscuit and brioche, flint, bright and zesty citrus. I could talk about this forever, pure joy in the glass.

This is the wine you open when you want to celebrate something. And there is so much to celebrate.
