Garage Wine Co. Revival País

Garage Wine Co. is reviving heritage with this artisan project. Revival began deep in Chile’s Maule Valley during the pandemic, with a clear mission: save forgotten old-growth País vines and support the rural communities that tend them.

This initiative kept local farmers working safely in their own vineyards—gnarled, dry-farmed sites ignored by the mainstream for being “too remote” or “too small.” But in that isolation lies magic: granite soils, head-trained vines, and flavours that defy every expectation of País.

This is Pais reimagined—think fresh guava flesh (yes, weird for a red wine—but so good, and so País!), alongside campfire smoke, cocoa nibs, crushed chalk, and craggy tannins that scamper across the palate like wildlife. It’s vibrant, focused, and full of purpose, with a granitic grip and just a whisper of dried rose petals.

Pair with seared duck breast with roasted grapes, or empanadas de horno shared with someone who values second chances.
