Riesling
Meet Fio Nat'Cool Riesling, the litre-bottle of "party Riesling" you never saw coming. Yes, we call her that for a reason.
A "thread" (that's what Fio means) connecting Portugal's legendary Dirk Niepoort to the Mosel's Kettern family, this project is all about avant-garde fun without the pretense. It’s naturally fermented with no added sulphites in old Mosel foeder barrels, and the result is pure, electric joy.
You can forget everything you know about Riesling. This is a low-alcohol (just 10.5%) lightning bolt of energy. It crackles with a zippy, jalapeño-like spice on the nose, followed by a palate of quinine, lemon pith, and a saline tartness that’s downright gose-like. It’s light, it’s weird in the best way, and it’s ridiculously drinkable.
Grab a litre, grab some friends, and let the party start.
