Anselmo Mendes is a legend in Vinho Verde for a reason. He takes the region's bright, high-acid grapes and coaxes out something softer, more textured, and quietly complex.

This one is a thoughtful blend of 40% Loureiro, 40% Avesso, and 20% Alvarinho, grapes chosen because they complement each other so well. Fermented and aged on its fine lees in stainless steel. It’s a pure tenderness and balance. White flowers, lemon rind, and wet stones. The mouth is soft and round. Ripe peach and apricot, a clean, stony snap. At 12.5% alcohol, it’s light and incredibly easy to drink, but it doesn’t feel simple.

Open it with grilled fish, a lemony pasta.
