A nice, young, direct Sicilian red. Made with some Perricone and Nero d'Avola. It can be a bit intense but still light and easy to drink. Ripe cherry, blackberry, and a subtle whisper of spice.
This is the emergency wine to have in your wine rack at all times. Because one night you're just going to be very tired of work and life and you're just going to grab a pie on your way home. You actually don't want to think much about the mundane routine of life. So you'll just open this bottle to go with that pie, and everything will feel lighter and easier and better.
