Complex, mysterious, profound! Few teas inspire the kind of obsessive love that Pu'er does. Grown from trees high in the primeval forests of Yunnan, where they've been for over a thousand years, Pu'er is also one of the most misunderstood teas in the West.
Join Brad Hall on Sunday, June 14th and taste backwards through twenty years, five teas. We'll talk about tree age, environment, terroir, energy, ageing. Brewing practices. Tasting notes. But mostly, we'll drink fantastic tea. This is for anyone curious about Chinese tea, about Pu'er, about the rarified world of collector teas. No experience is required, just curiosity.
As we always do, the class will be relaxed and conversational. So please, do bring your questions.

A note on caffeine: All teas are made from camellia sinensis, so they contain a moderate amount of caffeine. We'll be serving small 25ml cups, so total caffeine won't exceed a typical mug of tea. If you're sensitive, we recommend eating beforehand.
