Crushable and chillable red alert. Oh good, you heard it.

Domaine Marcel Lapierre is a legend in Beaujolais. The Gang of Four, the natural wine revolution, the whole thing. This is their everyday wine, made from the youngest vines that produce a lot of fruit. Pale red in colour. Bright strawberries, crazy bright florals like a bouquet in the glass, stewed rhubarb, bubblegum, and a little black pepper. The palate is light and bright, super crunchy red fruits, not a lot of tannin, and just a touch of that carbonic bubblegum thing. But it has enough acidity that it finishes cleanly.

Just add barbecue. Or a picnic.
