He's got a few projects going, but Piggy Pop is the one we keep coming back to.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis 2024 is a blend of Nero d'Avola, Lagrein, Montepulciano, Prieto Picudo, Canada Muscat, Aglianico, from Riverland. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhich sounds like a lot, but somehow it all just works. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eA cooler than average vintage in South Australia meant no days over 40 degrees, so the fruit ripened slowly, keeping all that freshness and acidity intact. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThe reds fermented together with some whole clusters, pressed early to keep the colour light and the tannins just grippy enough. Wild yeast, no additives, bottled with a little residual sugar that finished fermenting in bottle. Zero sulphur, unfined, unfiltered. All the good stuff.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe colour is this tangerine pink that sits somewhere between a dry rosé and a chillable red. Explosive on the nose: peach, apricot, red cherry. Blood orange and pomegranate with a little raspberry salted liquorice thing on the finish. It's fun, it's fizzy, it's exactly what you want when you don't want to think too hard about what you're drinking.
