He could have followed tradition, but he's always been compelled to do things a little differently. His wife Charlotte joined in 2016, and together they farm 6.5 hectares, 40-year-old vines drawing so much magic from clay and limestone soils.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003eThis is their BD'LP Les Pinots, a non-vintage Coteaux Champenois made from 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Pinot Meunier. It's lean, it's vibrant and also sappy. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003e\n\u003cspan\u003eThe nose is cherry and raspberry, boysenberry, a little earth, a little clay, a little stone. The palate is light and lean, with high acidity and grippy tannins\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"\"\u003e.
